Underwater wheelchair Paralympics Tested

An artist named Sue Austin is getting ready to exhibit a certain prototype self-propelled underwater wheelchair into the public.

Ms. Austin, who is actually a wheelchair user ever since 1996, made the chair with assistance from dive masters and academics.

The design is run by a couple of dive propulsion vehicles while steered with a custom-made fin combined with foot-operated acrylic strip.

She is setting up a performance by using it in a swimming pool located in Weymouth this week.
Producing the Spectacle forms able to join the Cultural Olympiad festivities.

Ms. Austin, of north Devon, reveals she initially had the concept after learning how to scuba dive in the year 2005.
