The submerged environment is extraordinary and haunting as well. This NASA Earth Observatory photography captivates the ethereal attractiveness of submerged sand dunes located in the Bahamas. The tides together with the deep sea currents carve the submerged sand just as the wind on the ground, however, the effect is barely distinct enough to be referred as otherworldly.
NASA initially released this photograph 13 years ago but recently made a decision to go over it and attach additional context . The sand dunes genuinely surround a deeper tongue-shaped trench, suitably called “Tongue of the Ocean,” as observed in this satellite figure below.
The dunes on their own are lovely, yet this zoomed out image reveals how exactly immense and unusual the deep seas are.
