Sailor Discovers Underwater Pyramid Near Azores

A Portuguese sailor boasts to have found a huge submerged pyramid, located between the islands of Terceira and Sao Miguel, in the Azores.

Diocleciano Silva couldn’t imagine what his vision was revealing to him. Just as he was cruising in the Atlantic Ocean searching for fish, he discovered a perfectly-shaped pyramid framework on the sonar.

After examining the GPS equipment and maps once again, Silva verified that the unidentified marine structure was resting at 40 meters (131 ft). Rectangular, and in parallel with the 4 cardinal compass orientations. The pyramid’s foundation is projected to have 8000 sq. meters.

The odd discovery was disclosed to the Portuguese Hydrographic Institute. Is it possible an old community, a volcanic creation, the results of ice age glaciation?
