Magnified Splash of Seawater

Ever consumed an enormous gulp of water while splashing in the sea? In that case, taking a look at this splash of seawater magnified 25 times could make you flinch.

Award-winning professional photographer David Liittschwager , who may have been commissioned various occasions by National Geographic, caught a number of photos demonstrating the variety of microfauna in the sea that could be indiscernible to the human eye.

The pictures display a single splash of water can include fish eggs, crab larva, worms, microorganisms and a variety of other little critters and crops known as a group as plankton.
