Titled “Drops of Breath,” the performance was developed by French dance choreographer Sophie Buebueyan together with Greek choreographer Apstolia Papadamaki. The sensational performance occurred at Cape Sounio, Greece on September 26, 2015. This Amazing Underwater Dance Performance has been planned and practiced for a long time.
In most, 14 entertainers indulged in this lovely marine dance, such as several handicapped scuba divers.
“I happen to be a professional dancer for 15 years, and I had particular challenges in the floor, simply because to be able to dance you should have a base surface,” claimed Irini Kourouvani, among the handicapped entertainers. “Suddenly I am on the ocean bed, in the water, the ground vanishes, hence my body is a lot more free down there, am performing stuff that I cannot even envision.”
Forty fortunate scuba divers were able to see the overall performance in the water, while others observed by snorkeling on the surface or watching from a projection display screen on terrain.
