Underwater digital cameras were utilized to catch video footage of the cause of these designs. What they discovered is that these art works were designed by little puffer fish as a segment of their mating regime.

Upon extra research by researchers, it was discovered that the geometric circles were accustomed to appeal to a partner. The more ridges, the much more likely a female was to be interested in mate and lay her eggs at its core.
